Word in Truth Ministries International is an Institution endeavouring to take up the responsibility of teaching Communities. We want to excel in our desire to equip people from all walks of life in order to help them acquire a better standard of life and personal achievement in Jesus Christ.

Our challenge in this time and age is to be relevant and truthful to our nation regarding Christian Education and training.

The call of Christ motivates us to be partakers and not spectators.

Our Mission

Our mission is:

  • To identify role players in the world that can assist us in being Talmidim***.

  • To communicate our passion to the world through excellent training.

  • To use all resources available in our world to uplift God and His people.

  • To be a true representative of God and His Kingdom and to give fair opportunity to all.

  • To have a sacrificial spirit in order to invest in the future.

  • To use Jesus the Christ as the Cornerstone and Foundation of our Ministry.

  • Jesus the Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We will remain in Him.

*** The word Talmidim: 

The meaning of the word cannot be explained in one sentence. This word has such a broadly encompassing description that it would take more than this space to properly define it. I’ll try and explain.

It means to teach someone to be a student and to be taught. Talmid is the singular and Talmidim the plural form. There is much more to a talmid than being a student. A student wants to know what the teacher knows for the grade, to complete the class or the degree or even out of respect for the teacher. A talmid wants to like the teacher, wanting to become what the teacher is. That meant that students were passionately devoted to their rabbi and noted everything he did or said. This meant the rabbi/talmid relationship was a very intense and personal system of education. As the rabbi lived and taught his understanding of the Scripture his students (Talmidim) listened and watched and imitated so as to become like him. Eventually they would become teachers passing on a lifestyle to their Talmidim.

The rabbi in our case is God through His Spirit and Word, and we as talmid desire to become like Him. Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

  • Isaiah 61:1-2 as fulfilled in Luke 4:18-19

     Isaiah 61:1-2

      [1]The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; [2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

     

    Luke 4:18-19

     

    [18] The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, [19] To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
